Thank you for your interest in our work. If you’ve taken a look at my short Bio and feel inspired by the science we pursue, I’d be glad to hear from you. If you are excited about quantum science and want to contribute to a growing research team exploring ultracold dipolar atoms and strongly correlated systems, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Feel free to reach out Dr. Cesar Cabrera with questions about opportunities, collaborations, or potential positions.
Short Bio
With a career spanning Bonn, Barcelona, Munich, and Hamburg, Dr. C. Cabrera has worked at the forefront of ultracold quantum gases:
Master – University of Bonn (Prof. Dr. M. Weitz): Optical lattices for photon Bose–Einstein condensates
Ph.D. – ICFO, Barcelona (Prof. Dr. L. Tarruell):
- First quantum simulator and first BEC in Spain
- EXperimental observation of quantum liquid droplets in a two-component BEC
Postdoc – Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, Munich. (Prof. Dr. M. Aidelsburger & Prof. Dr. I. Bloch):
- Quantum gas microscopy and applied machine learning for single-atom reconstruction
Senior Scientist – University of Hamburg: (Prof. Dr. H. Moritz)
Coordinator of the CUI Graduate School and senior scientist leading research on ultracold Fermi gases in low dimensions
